God – Exalted, Enraged, & Esteemed – Ps. 30

This psalm begins with David exalting God in praise. But David’s wayward actions connected to his prosperity, bring on divine disapproval – anger. Unable to bear the burden of God’s anger David cries out, asking the Father to extend mercy by bowing low and receiving him once again. As God extends that mercy, David extends a renewed esteeming exaltation to the Father of second chances.
