I Am – Light (what it means for Jesus to be light)

Jesus said in John 8:12 that He was the “light of the world.” What a unique and telling statement. What does it mean for Jesus to be light?

In this study we look at three things Jesus was revealing about Himself when he used this metaphor.

• He revealed that He fully understands the nature of darkness!
• He shows that by being light He illuminates the true realities of all situations in life!
• He also demonstrates that He alone is the perfect source of light!
