Beyond Hatred – Heaping Good

When one has obediently implemented the stages thus far examined in Romans twelve they are ready to step out of hatred and into love by heaping goodness upon an offender.

Paul identifies three steps in preparation for dropping love bombs on the one with whom we are annoyed. 1) Look at what the offender’s needs are, 2) Examine what resources you possess, 3) Heap goodness upon the offender.

Scripture says that when we heap goodness upon an offender it is like putting burning coals upon their head. We will talk about what the does and does not mean.
