Why The Cross?

Our fifth Sunday assemblies are devotee to a a special emphasis to the communion service. In this lesson we ask the question, “Why did Jesus go to the cross?”

One part of the answer is that Jesus went to the cross to bear the sins of humanity. And such is correct. However, in this lesson we challenge ourselves to look at Jesus’ sin bearing from a little different perspective. All of this serves as an encouragement to open the door for a greater appreciation for the wonders of the memory meal of the Master.
