New Name – Friend
We read about it. We hear it preached. We sometimes sing about it. But what does it really mean to be a “friend of God?” Have we really evaluated the significance of our personal friendship with deity?
In this lesson we seek to do three things:
- Establish a definition of friendship
- Look at specific individuals identified in Scripture as being friends of God
- Discuss some of what it means for us to be a friend of deity
