We have spent several weeks examining the realities behind God calling us “believers.” The implications are enormous! Being a true believer involves:

  • A purposeful decision to live within the characteristics of faith
  • A refusal to allow the factors of faith to become habitual
  • A commitment to live a life in Christ that is continually experiencing “renewal” on every level

In our last study we began to explore areas in which true believers are engaging in a continuing renewal process. They are renewing their love for God, developing a deeper hatred for the residue of sin which still abides in their fleshly nature, and renewing their adoration for the power of God’s Word.

Today we continue to look at areas of personal renewal as we discuss the believers need to: renew their love for brothers and sisters, and their need to allow their renewed faith to demonstrate itself within new actions and activities.
