New Name – Apostle
In this lesson we look at the specific application of the word apostle in the New Testament. It was used of Jesus, of His twelve chosen individuals, and of Paul. These specific “apostles” filled assigned rolls with divine authority.
There is, however, use of the word apostle in the New Testament that is more general in application. It is in this word that we will find our challenge to accept this new name assigned to believers by God.
