God Longs for Relationsip

Another important lesson within the framework of respecting the ancient boundaries is to understand why God may have established boundaries for humanity.

Some mistakenly believe God is a judgmental giant who places boundaries for the sole purpose of catching mankind in some punishable violation.  He is the God with a big stick just waiting with great anticipation for distributing a spiritual spanking to those who drift out of His established course.

But what about looking at this differently?  What about boundaries being the method by which God can reestablish His lost relationship with humanity.  What if God so longs for relationship with the creatures He loves, that He set boundaries to make reunification a reality?

In this lesson we look at how strongly God is motivated to do just that.  He has done everything possible to bring Himself back into full relationship with sinful man.  He longs to walk again with humans in the cool of the evening.
