Imitate Me…

Paul has spoken boldly concerning his own spiritual goals and objectives.  He has challenged his readers to think the same way.  If they “think differently” about his challenge, he lets them know that God can bring them to this deeper level of understanding as long as they remain true to what they have already learned.

Next, Paul will hold himself up as an example and urge readers to “imitate me.”  In this lesson we look at what Paul means in this statement and what advantages exist to imitating the devotion shown in others.
