Worship By the Spirit
Last time we looked at several passages which provided some insight into the type of things accomplished “by the Spirit.”
In this lesson we want to look at some specifics concerning what Philippians 3:3 means when giving the instruction to “worship by the Spirit.”
We begin by establishing a primary principle that “worship by the Spirit” is not natural. It is not a natural outgrowth of human nature, desire, ceremony, ritual or liturgy. Rather than natural, worship by the Spirit grows within the power and working of God’s Spirit. Our study will look at five categories generated by the Spirit which are necessary elements for worship to achieve a “by the Spirit” identity.
