Calamity and the Creator
The Philippian church is very concerned about Paul. The nature of their intimate relationship has led them to be anxious about his Roman imprisonment. How is he being treated? Has their been a verdict? If so is Rome going to take his life? These and other questions would be illustrative of their anxieties. So, Ephaphroditus is sent with a financial gift which may help alleviate their concerns as well as give them first-hand information concerning their close friend.
In this lesson we look at how Paul answers their concerns. His answers you may find surprising because he spends little time on himself and much more on the Savior whom he is serving while in custody.
