What Would Jesus Teach – In Pergamum?

In his Revelation letter, John records messages given by Jesus to seven Asian churches.

• Ephesus needed to rekindle their first love…
• Smyrna had been faithful through affliction and poverty but Jesus encourages them to remain faithful as the persecution intensifies even to the point of death…

Now we come to the message addressed to Brothers and Sisters in Pergamum.  This church, like the others has some commendable traits which Jesus will acknowledge.  However, they also had a unique problem which would bring them into the Lord’s judgment.

There is much for modern believers to glean from the message Jesus delivered to His body in Pergamum.
